This fresh, simple, and tasty hors d’oeuvre is a timeless pairing guaranteed to have your guests raving!
Ingredients
- 1 pint fresh figs
- 5 ounces honey chèvre
- 2 ounces baby arugula
- 1 slice prosciutto, cut into thin strips
Preparation
Rinse, dry, and slice tops off the figs. Make 2 perpendicular cuts into the cut side of each fig almost to the base, then pipe ½ ounce of honey chèvre into each opening. (Chèvre often comes in plastic logs; if you snip off the corner, you can use the bag to pipe the chèvre into the figs.)
Finish the canapé with a leaf of arugula and a strip of prosciutto, then arrange on a platter to serve.
