For a fresh spin on a margarita, kick it up a notch with homemade kiwi simple syrup!
Ingredients
Kiwi Simple Syrup:

Kiwi Cooler Cocktail:

Preparation
To make the kiwi simple syrup, combine water, sugar, and sliced kiwifruit in a pan, then cover and bring to a boil. Turn heat to low and cook for 10 minutes. Remove from heat and let cool for 20 minutes covered. Strain simple syrup then chill in refrigerator.
To make the cocktail, combine all ingredients except ice in a shaker and muddle. Add ice and shake vigorously. Pour contents into a rocks glass then garnish with a kiwi slice.
