Blue Cheese & Bacon Burger

The best hamburgers are often the simplest, like with these all-beef patties topped with smoked bacon and crumbled blue cheese.
Ingredients

Preparation
Season ground beef with salt and pepper and mix together, being careful not to overwork the meat. Form mixture into 4 evenly sized patties, then set aside.
Fry bacon over low heat until crispy, then set aside.
Heat grill to medium. Cook hamburger patties for 4–5 minutes per side, turning once. While the burgers are cooking, toast the hamburger buns on the grill.
Assemble burger by placing the lettuce, tomato, red onion, and bacon on the bottom half of the bun. Place the burger patty over the bacon, then finish with blue cheese. Add additional condiments as desired.
